There are a few tricks to getting the Homesite embeded properly in a blog. The formatting requirements are much more stringent than in a normal webpage (especially if you cut and paste from the attached PDF file — you might need to paste the code first into a text editor (e.g. notepad) and remove the carriage returns in the embed section.
Here is the exact code that I used for this blog post
<object width=”425″ height=”361″ id=”HomeSite.Obeo.com”>
<param name=movie value=”http://homesite.obeo.com/viewer/Main.swf?embedMode=remote&allowScaling=true” />
<param name=flashvars value=”tourid=440930&locale=en-us§ion=photos&RefURL=Obeosphere”>
<param name=quality value=best>
<param name=bgcolor value=#999999>
<param name=allowScriptAccess value=”always”>
<param name=allowFullScreen value=true>
<embed src=”http://homesite.obeo.com/viewer/Main.swf?embedMode=remote&allowScaling=true” FlashVars=”tourid=440930&locale=en-us§ion=photos&RefURL=Obeosphere” quality=high bgcolor=#999999 width=”425″ height=”361″ name=”HomeSite.Obeo.com” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” quality=”best” allowScriptAccess=”always” allowFullScreen=”true” pluginspace=”http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer”></embed>
</object>
Just copy and paste this code to your blog (make sure you change the tourid and RefURL (in both the Object and the Embed sections). Other parameters that you can include are described in this PDf file.

Thanks Scott, Stayed tuned. There are a lot of additional changes coming to HomeSite very, very soon including the ability to upload the tour to YouTube (or any other video hosting service).
Great tip and addition to our blog. How about allowing us to upload the photo video to our You Tube account and other online video accounts to increase the reach of viewers?
