HomeSite Tools Screen

A few weeks ago I wrote about how to embed your HomeSite virtual tours into your web page or blog page. Many people loved the idea, but admittedly the instructions were complicated and most people had questions about how to actually do it.

So… we’ve added a new feature to the HomeSite Tools section that will allow you to SHARE your HomeSite virtual tour in just about any way imaginable.

HomeSite Share Options

Clicking on the ‘Share This Tour’ button in the HomeSite Tools screen will give you 4 different options:

1. Email - Send this tour via email to your friends or acquaintences

2. Link - Link to this tour from your website or MLS

3. Embed - Embed this tour into your blog or website

4. Share/Bookmark – Add this tour to your FaceBook or LinkedIn page, or share it with the world using the latest social media sites

This screen will automatically build the code necessary to include a link to your HomeSite tour on your webpage or in your MLS system. Customize the settings to have the link appear and function the way to want.
 
 
 
 
 
 

EMBED

HomeSite Share via Embed Code

Embedding your HomeSite tour right into your webpage or blog makes it appear as if the tour is running right on your web site rather than linking out to another web site. Most people are familiar with this concept because of YouTube videos.

By adjusting the settings on this screen, you can have the HomeSite tour automatically play as a slide show or shrink or enlarge the virtual tour to fit into the space that you have available.
 
 
 
 

SHARE/BOOKMARK

There are many, many social media sites available on the Internet now. If you want to add your HomeSite tour to your FaceBook page or Share it via StumbleUpon or Delicio.us, these tools are now available. Simply click on the link to the service that you wish to use, log in using your username and password to that site, and your HomeSite virtual tour will be there
