Announcing Favorite Photo Fridays!

Starting this Friday, September 30th, we will be having a weekly Facebook Game called Favorite Photo Fridays. Every week will have a different theme, so sometime on Monday or Tuesday of each week we will announce (with a blog post like this) what the photo theme/topic will be. Then anyone and everyone can comment on the Obeo Fan Page Post with a link to their favorite photo that fits the theme. On Friday afternoons we will find the photo with the most “likes” and give that Facebook Fan a $25 Obeo gift certificate good on any Obeo product. If the winner is one of Obeo’s Photographers (and we will encourage them to participate), that photographer will receive a $25 gift certificate to www.BHPhotoVideo.com.

Obeo Wins Top 10 Small Business Facebook Pages: 2011

Recently, the Social Media Examiner created a contest for the Top 10 Small Business Facebook Pages of 2011. With more than 1400 entries, the competition was fierce! Social Media Examiner chose a panel of Facebook experts who carefully reviewed the nominees and finalists, analyzing their landing pages, engagement, reader involvement and creative use of promotions (among other things). This panel included social media superstars Mari Smith (co-author, Facebook Marketing: An Hour a Day), Dave Kerpen (author, Likeable Social Media) and Michael Stelzner (author, Launch). According to the panel, the top 10 pages were all able to achieve great success on small budgets!
